Who We Are
Same Ingredients, Different Stories : That is the Universal Language of Bread
Kids Breaking Bread isn't just about sharing food—it's about sharing stories, traditions, and creating lasting friendships. Bread is beautifully simple and yet, each loaf tells its own story, shaped by the hands and traditions of the culture that created it.
This initiative brings primary school students together in a program where young hands knead dough and young hearts shape connections last beyond the school gates.
Kids Breaking Bread came out of a conversation between four mums, two Kincoppal-Rose Bay parents and two parents of the Emanuel School. Their wish was that their children would be friends and share their respective backgrounds and traditions like they had years before. The team was complete after finding the right educational lead to bring Kids Breaking Bread to life.
The mission of Kids Breaking Bread is simply to transform Primary classrooms into a space where culture and traditions meet friendship through the joy of baking bread together.
Now, your children can be part of this delicious journey of discovery.
Whether you're a parent, educator, or school administrator, we invite you to join us in this unique cultural exchange. Together, we're not just baking bread—we're cultivating understanding, one small baker at a time.
Ready to watch your school community grow stronger through the power of shared traditions? Let's break bread together.
